Lake Powell 2010 ...

This summer has been FULL of time on the lake! It has really made the summer fly by and we have had so much fun with it. Beau is a die-hard when it comes to waterskiing and he would be happy to be out there every morning. Since I'm pregnant ... I have just been relaxing on our boat the whole time and jumping in the WARM lake. Andie is in-love with boating and wants to go all the time. She has NO FEAR and just jumps right into the lake all by herself a million times while we are out. I'm glad she loves it and has no inhibitions but it also makes me a bit nervous!

In June we went to Whaweap for a little mini-vaca .... oh my goodness we had so much fun and really did not want to come back home at all. We stayed at the Lake Powell Resort which is right on the lake .... you overlook the lake and it's gorgeous ... I can't believe I have NO pictures of the place. Anyway, we started out with some really crappy weather and got stuck in a rain/wind storm on the lake, we were all sopping and freezing cold!! The good news is it was all better from that day on. My parents came down for about a day and a half and my brothers family joined us for part of the trip also. The bro. who is also a huge a fan of water skiing had been itching to get down and play.

The last night Beau surprised me and took me and Andie to Antelope Island (I think that's what it's called) and we had dinner at this amazing restaurant. You park your car and they have golf carts that take you down to the restaurant. Then we ate outside and it's surrounded by the lake. I LOVE places like that. It was gorgeous and seriously topped of the trip ... it was so much fun!!

Back to the Blogging World ....

This will be my second attempt at a personal blog. I am so horrible at keeping a journal and it's important for me to keep something for my family history. So, this blog is for me and I will be sharing my heart, my love, my ups, my downs, the happy times and the sad.

A little low down, throw down with the family. This year has been a good year for us .... Andie Belle will be turning 3 in August. I can't even believe my little chick is already turning three. Watching her grow has been so very bittersweet for me. She is my little shadow, my best friend, and a typical 2 year old who can be such a little stink ... she pretty much rules our house in every way possible ... in other words we have no control what-so-ever!

We are so excited to welcome a baby BOY to our family the beginning of October! We found out we're having a boy last week. We were at the docs office doing the ultra sound and Andie kept saying she wanted a girl ... it's gonna be a sister. When my doc said it's a boy Andie said "I want a girl, I don't even like boys!" haha it was really funny! Poor girl. She is better now and is excited for a baby brother.

This summer has already been full of time spent on the lake. It has been nothing short of fabulous. We're heading to Lake Powell in a few days and can't wait for a week of relaxation!! Pictures to come after we return!!
